Composer – Orchestra

  • Sir Duke, arrangement for pops conductor Stuart Chafetz
  • Six traditional Hebrew scorings for orchestra: Roi Azoulay , Music Director: Shaar Hashomayim
  • Concerto (#3) for Trumpet and Orchestra for Dallas Symphony principal trumpeter, Ryan Anthony. Premiere with the San Juan Symphony (Durango, CO). February 20/21, 2016.
  • The Arch (Trombone Concerto), premiere of the newly orchestrated version conducted by David Robertson with Gerry Pagano and the St. Louis Symphony¬†April 28, 29 & 30, 2017.

Composer – Brass

  • Mahogany Moods, trio for saxophone, bass trombone and piano. To be Premiered by Tim McAllister, Randy Hawes and Kathryn Goodson on Sept. 21, 2015. http://pianofortefoundation.org/series/pss
  • Unaccompanied bass trombone solo, commissioned by Jonathan Warburton and 8 other bass trombonists
  • Fanfare for trumpet ensemble, for Louie Eckhardt and the Kid’s Orchestra in Baton Rouge. Premiere in December 2015
  • “Red” – fanfare for solo trombone and trombone ensemble. Commissioned by David Begnoche; to be premiered by Megumi Knada (principal trombone, Milwaukee Symphony) in April at TCU, along with a recording project including my “Blue” for the same ensemble.

Composer – Wind Ensemble

  • Jubilant Light, for wind ensemble. Premiere date in December 2015 with the St. Thomas Wind Ensemble, Matthew George, conductor. PBS in Minnesota.
  • Concerto for piccolo trumpet and wind ensemble – commissioned by Joshua Ganger. 2016.

  • Liquid Melancholy – concerto for clarinet, piano reduction; commissioned by John Yeh and 23 other co-commissioners. 2016.

Composer – Band

  • there are no words – large band version of Charleston-victim memorial piece, premiere with Scott Weiss conducting the Palmetto Concert Band. February, 2016 at the Southeast regional CBDNA conference.
  • The Legend of Sleepy Hollow (for band). Premiere in May, 2016, by the Hudson Valley Symphonic Wind Ensemble (Sleepy Hollow, NY) conducted by James Wayne.
  • Concerto grosso for the USAF concert band, Washington D.C. Premiere in 2016
  • Chosen composer for American Composers Forum BandQuest program. A middle school band work. 2016.
