Naples Philharmonic January 14, 2012 premiere of Stephenson's "Myraculous!"

Jan. 30 - Stephenson returned home from England, and headed straight into the radio studio for a live performance with host Kerry Frumkin of "Mysteries of Harris Burdick" with the Metropolis (oboe) Quartet.
Jan. 27 - 30 - Stephenson travelled to the UK for visits with friends, family and the England premiere of Trumpet concerto #2 ('Rextreme') with the esteemed Fodens Brass Band and Rex Richardson, soloist.
Jan. 22 - Stephenson with wife Sally (violinist) and Adam Levin (guitarist) after the premiere of his new version of "Song" - for guitar and violin - at the Lake Forest Country Day School.
Jan. 14 - Stephenson and wife Sally enjoy a day off at the beach during their visit to Naples for the premiere of "Myraculous," a Stephenson composition dedicated to Naples Philharmonic founder, Myra Daniels.
Jan. 11 - Stephenson was in attendance for the new orchestral version of "Duels and Dances" - an oboe concerto written for Alex Klein. The performance took place at the St. Barths Music Festival on the beautiful French West Indies island.
Dec. 17 - Stephenson headed south to lead the Southwest Florida Symphony Orchestra in their Holiday Pops concert: "Timeless Treasures." Performances: Dec. 17 & 19.
Dec. 10 - Stephenson was in Cleveland for the premiere of "Liquid Melancholy," a clarinet concerto featuring Daniel Gilbert and the Contemporary Youth Orchestra, Liza Grossman, conductor.
Nov. 16 - Two members of the Chicago Chamber Musicians, Barbara Butler (trumpet) and Fred Selvaggio (percussion), performed two movements ("Running with Lionel" and "Dinner with Andre") from Stephenson's "Vignettes" on Wednesday evening, Nov. 16th.
Stephenson is currently enjoying the position of Composer-in-Residence with the Lake Forest Symphony. Alan Heatherington is Music Director.
